Dai due might have one of the top 5x burgers in Austin. (WAGYU) Fries are crispy and as good as it gets. The charcuterie board are always well thought out different. The few desserts I've tried passed all my sweet tooth test. I rarely have a bad dish here and I keep coming back so I'll have to give this place an easy 5 stars.

Our group of 12 had a wonderful experience at Dai Due. We reserved ahead to be on the patio, nestled under their ivy covered pergola. Fans and misters were going to keep the heat at bay, and tabletop spinners kept the bugs away. Service was phenomenal, which made the dinner extra special. I love the concept of only sourcing from in-state, and we had a lot of fun sampling the Texas fare, from the food to the wine. While we had a pre-arranged menu for our party, everything was delicious - my favorites being the mushroom toast appetizer and the mulberry (?) ice cream. I would 100% recommend this restaurant to any meat lover, and especially for a large group special occasion.

What a treat! I love fresh, farm to table concepts and the price is reasonable. We started with the sourdough bread with a strawberry fennel lard. I wish it had been more spreadable but it was good. We shared crawfish grits and fried quail dishes and both were great, the crawfish grits tasted like New Orleans. The breading on the quail was perfectly seasoned and not greasy at all: I loved the gravy it came with for the biscuit and the mashed potatoes. The greens were fresh and some of the best I've had. For dessert we shared the buttermilk pie with blueberry compote. I didn't love it, but I did love the peanut pudding with the brittle on top. Yum yum and the patio is beautiful. Definitely a place we will be back to.

Visited Austin recently with a group of friends and made a Friday evening reservation for the group. We were sat in the Butcher's Booth at the front of the restaurant near the butcher's counter. The wait staff was attentive and explained the menu in detail. All beer, wine, produce, and meat is sourced locally in Texas and the quality showed in the food. We drank the "Grower Project" Sangiovese with the meal and sampled an extensive amount of their menu. The Centex Mezze board was a staff recommended item that did not disappoint, as well as the Auodad meatballs, pork chop, and hand pie. The Wagyu ribeye was delicious, but a bit too fatty/too much sinew. Overall, a great meal with great company and I'd love to go back the next time I visit Austin!

What a wonderful meal and dining experience. Texas cuisine at its finest. Dai Due sources all of its products (meats, vegetables, fruit, drinks, etc.) only from Texas. They will not compromise - if it is not from Texas it is not served here. Example: I asked if they had cocktails. No, we can not reliably source citrus in Texas. So we had some pretty good Texas Wine from the Hill country. I knew about Dai Due, after a hunting trip when I was given a copy of the Chef's "The Hog Book" cookbook. The recipes were so good, I knew I had to go to the restaurant, next time I was in Austin. Glad I did. Our server, Kelli was a wealth of knowledge and helpful in helping select the right dishes and the proper amount of food for our group. There is not a question about the menu items, wine or Texas in general that she does not know. So to start, we had a delicious mezza platter with falafel, homemade yoghurt, hoummos, a feta and olive spread. The green chili pork stuffed chalupa simply divine. For the main course, a petite pork chop and Aoudad Sheep meatballs hit the spot. Each was served with separate accompaniments that really complimented the dishes. Roasted carrots with a Salsa Verde sauce exceptional as were the beets. Everything had remarkable flavors, perfectly spiced and seasoned. The kitchen knows what it is doing. Texas wine was served by the bottle or glass as well as craft Texas beers. Inside the dining room is well appointed and comfortable seating. The noise level was relatively quiet. Parking available in their lot. So glad I had the opportunity to experience one of Austin's finest restaurant. Bravo. Whoop!

One of the best meals I had in Austin! Sat outside and they had heat lamps for us. Service was superb. Every dish was good. I loved the shrimp with some chili oil sauce. They know what they're doing with their meats!! I loved the stuffed quail and the pork!

What a wonderful place with a unique menu focused entirely on local Texas goods, from the meat to the wine. I am in constant pursuit of the 'best cheeseburger' and had heard great things about theirs as well as the rest of the menu. The burger was fantastic and my first foray into antelope which was paired with wagyu. We also had quail stuffed with blueberries and rhubarb, quite a combination of flavors but all went charmingly well together. I love all "pocket" foods and they had a crawfish variation that was just the right amount of bread to sauce to meat ratio. The brussel sprouts were excellent. The fries were okay, I probably wouldn't get them again - they didnt have the crispiness I look for in my fried potatoes. I reconfirmed I do not like Texas wine much but they have sparkling water and a selection of beer for those who also feel that way. There are three choices of seating options: indoor table, indoor counter, and outside. The kitchen is an open concept which is fun. You can see things being fire roasted. The staff was friendly and well equipped to answer menu questions and all worked together nicely when bringing foods to the table. They checked in without being too much. I an glad this is in my neighborhood! The menu is constantly changing -- I will be back.
